Picazzo's Organic Italian Kitchen - 1300 S. Milton Rd. Gluten-free pizza and pastas. Ninety percent of the items on the menu are gluten-free items and indicated on the menu.
Little Thai Kitchen - 1051 S. Milton R.d
Mountain Oasis - 11 E. Aspen Ave. downtown. Many salads and rice-based dishes. The corn chips have gluten in them.
DaraThai - 14 S. San Francisco St.
Cuisine of India (Delhi Palace) - 2700 S. Woodlands Blvd. (Wal-Mart Plaza) Although they do not have a gluten-free menu, all of the food is gluten-free except for the naan bread.
Mexican restaurants - dishes made with corn tortillas; ask about gluten in the sauces and the beans.
Chipotle Mexican Grill - 1111 S. Plaza Way, a fast-food chain restaurant. Ask your food preparer to change her/his gloves and make sure if anyone else adds ingredients s/he also changes gloves.
Diablo Burger - Heritage Square (Aspen Street between Leroux and San Francisco). They serve burgers made from locally grown beef and for 35 cents extra you can get your burger on a gluten-free bun. Now offering a gluten-free veggie burger on a glutne-free bun for those of us who don't eat meat. The fries are gluten-free. The restaurant is very small so expect to wait.
Olive Garden - 2550 S. Beulah Blvd. has a gluten-free menu.
Chili's Restaurant - 1500 S. Milton Rd. - posts allergen information on their website. Go to Chili's for menu items containing gluten and wheat, soy, dairy, and more.
Wildflower Bread Company - Aspen Place at the Sawmill, SE Corner of Butler and Lone Tree - has many items that can be ordered gluten-free. This guide contains the ingredients of their menu items and allergen information.
Cafe Daily Fare at Simply Delicious Catering - 408 E. Rte 66, behind the Babbitt pre-owned vehicles building. Serving fresh gluten-free soups and salads. The fish tacos can be made gluten-free by request and sandwiches can be made on gluten-free bread.
Buster's Restaurant - 1800 S. Milton Rd. #111. Ask your server for their gluten-free menu. Sandwiches are served on gluten-free bread.
Beaver Street Brewery - 11 S. Beaver St. Serving gluten-free salads, sandwiches (without bread), pizzas, and beer. Ask your server for their gluten-free menu. They do not have a separate oven for their gluten-free pizzas.
Mix on the Square - Located in the Old Town Shops/Heritage Square, on Leroux at Birch Ave., Mix serves salads you design and sandwiches on gluten-free bread upon request. They note "Very little on our menu contains gluten. We notate "Gluten" where it is known to exist." Gluten-free bread and croutons available upon request.
1899 Bar & Grill - Located on the campus of Northern Arizona University at 307 W. Dupont St. Gluten-free items are marked clearly on the menu and most any item on the menu can be prepared gluten-free.
The Northern Pines Restaurant - 2200 E. Butler Ave. Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu.
Jitters Lunchbox - 3504 Historic Route 66. Open Monday - Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. serving homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads. They will make any sandwich on the menu on gluten-free bread and they sell pre-packaged gluten-free cookies.
The McMillan Bar and Kitchen - 2 West Route 66 - menu includes gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
Cottage Place Restaurant - 126 West Cottage Ave. - open Wednesday through Sunday.There is no gluten-free menu but the wait staff can tell you which selections can be prepared gluten-free - very accommodating.
The Silver Pine Restaurant at Little America - 2515 E Butler Ave. - open daily 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Gluten-free items are identified on the breakfast menu. Although not designated, almost everything on the dinner menu is gluten-free. Staff is knowledgable and accommodating.
